Since its inception just a few short years ago for the 2021 model year, the Ford Bronco Sport has quickly become one of the most popular models on the lineup. Building on the heritage of the iconic Ford Bronco, the Bronco Sport offers a crossover alternative to the traditional SUV Ford Bronco. It also belongs to the compact segment whereas its big sibling is a midsize. This year, Ford introduced a pair of exciting new packages that offer even more options for customers who love the Bronco Sport. These come in the form of the Free Wheeling special edition and the Black Appearance package. Today we thought we’d take a closer look at these two new packages while also giving you the rundown on the full 2024 Ford Bronco Sport lineup of trim levels and starting prices, so read on below to learn more!

2024 Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling Special Edition
The first variant we want to narrow our focus onto is the exciting Free Wheeling special edition trim level paying homage to the package that first debuted back in the late ‘70s. Back then, the Free Wheeling Package was available on the F-100, F-150, Bronco and Econoline van among other models on the lineup. The new model, available exclusively on the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport, will pay homage to the original models by copying its vintage reflective red, orange, yellow and silver body graphics along the vehicle’s sides and on its hood and liftgate.
The original models also inspired the Bronco Sport Free Wheeling edition’s silver-painted grille, two-tone Bronco badging, modified lower front end insert, Shadow Black roof and 17” high-gloss black wheels featuring red accents. On the inside, the Bronco Sport adopts a Black Onyx and Dark Space Grey finish. This is augmented by sunset-colored seat inserts, ombre stitching on the seats and door trim and a Race Red C Channel. In addition to all of these unique design cues, the Free Wheeling Special Edition trim level features everything that comes standard on the Big Bend trim.
2024 Ford Bronco Sport Black Appearance Package
Pretty much the exact opposite of the bright, sunset-inspired Free Wheeling special edition, we present to you the Black Appearance package. Inspired by unpolluted night skies across America, this package encompasses a Carbon Black grille and other blacked-out design cues. Additional examples include Matte Black 17” wheels, Matte Black hood graphics, Shadow Black painted roof, black accent trim badges, Smoked Chrome Ford oval and a black bucking Bronco badge on the modified air bag cover. Other features include Sport Contour seating and two-tone Bronco lettering.
In addition to these two unique trims/packages, the Bronco Sport also offers a pair of new exterior color options for the 2024 model year. While not available on the Free Wheeling or Heritage trim levels, these new options include Azure Gray and Desert Sand.
