The Cadillac brand has always been one of the most luxurious brands on the market. When it comes to the pinnacle of luxury in a utility vehicle, many look to the Escalade as the vehicle sitting atop the mountain, and we certainly won’t argue. However, the brand has introduced many additional utility vehicles through the years, and now it’s beginning to add electric crossovers to the mix. First the LYRIQ made its debut, and now the lineup will add the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ. These are just a couple of the first steps towards the automaker’s vow to have an all-electric lineup by 2030. Today we thought we’d highlight the specs & features that have us so excited for the release date of the new model, on which we’ll also touch.
“Cadillac has always defined American luxury, and OPTIQ is an example of how our bold, innovative spirit is propelling us into the EV future. Over the past five years, Cadillac has welcomed approximately 1 million new customers to the family globally, while our percentage of younger buyers has increased 5% in the U.S. OPTIQ will be an important gateway to attract luxury EV intenders to Cadillac as we look to offer a fully electric portfolio by the end of the decade.”
