2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Updated Specs & Features Plus Available Models

The GMC Sierra is always in the conversation when it comes to the most popular pickup truck models on the market. The full-size, light-duty pickup truck has been on the market since 1986, meaning it has nearly four decades of experience on the GMC lineup. Constantly reinventing itself, GMC now has premium luxury, off-road and even electric versions of the Sierra 1500. For starters, the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel powertrain is now standard on the AT4X trim level. Active exhaust is a feature that’s now available on the Denali, Denali Ultimate, AT4, AT4X and SLT trim levels. There are two additional premium aluminum wheel options and two new premium exterior color options (Downpour Metallic and Thunderstorm Gray). Finally, the 2.7L Turbo High-Output Engine will now be called TurboMax and it will feature a Powertrain Warranty of five years or 100,000 miles.
